Faq Blogs Via’ Da’ Web
Blogs are web logs that are updated regularly, usually on a daily basis. They contain information related to a specific topic. In some cases blogs are used as daily diaries about people's personal lives, political views, or even as social commentaries. The truth of the matter is that blogs can be shaped into whatever the author wants them to be.
Apart from the traffic and exposure that you get if you list your blog on Blogs Via’ Da’ Web, we do also offer paid forms of advertising. You can find out more information in our advertising section.
Just click add a site and follow the easy steps to submit your site for approval by staff members.
Your listing is active in our directory immediately, however, your listing will be given an approval manually by editors. Approval times can vary significantly from 1 day up to 10 days.
You will only be notified via email if your blog has been rejected, otherwise your blog will stay active in our directory.
If the site you submit is a blog (see What are blogs?) or a blog resource (e.g. blog hosting) and the site does not contain illegal content, then it should have no problem getting approved. However, we frown upon submissions that lead to splash/welcome pages, site under construction pages, password protected blogs, spam blogs containing self-promoting links and blogs which contain very little content. The editors have the final decision on approval/rejection of a submission.
After you have logged in, go to "my sites". Here you can make changes to you site listing on.
The "score" that you see next to each listing indicates the listings overall score. Scores play a part in determining a listings rank in search results. A listing will increase/decrease it's score depending on users ratings, incoming traffic and outgoing traffic amongst other variables. Basically, a high score is a good score!
