Why do laundry detergent can produce bubble?

Washing powder itself won't produce bubbles, washing water can produce bubbles.

So actually, the mixing water can produce bubbles, just bubble burst in an instant, you can't see.

When water in washing powder, soap powder, detergent, these compounds have a chemical called surfactant, they can reduce the surface tension of water, reduce the tension between the water molecules.
