The team working on the english version of
Gods Origin Online MMO
is making progress on their run-up to beta, particularly in the area of
PvE, quests, and raids. As one would expect, players level by
completing story missions. Completing all of the story will offer access
to Rift quests which are available in five different difficulty levels —
the highest level of which can be turned into a 16-player raid.
Since this is a pretty big deal, the
VivaGames
team has planned a new (monthly) event and a contest to go along with
it. The event, titled “Residential Renovation” will run one week every
month.
First things first: Arena is still Magic: The Gathering.
Seven cards in hand, 20 life, creatures, sorceries, lands, all that
jazz. The underlying game is exactly what you’d expect.

There are plenty of activities that don't require player interaction.
Gods Origin
has a questing system like any other MMORPG that gives players the
chance to earn XP and items while completing missions at their own pace.
The game features a dungeon mode for single player. There are five
dungeons that can be completed without any help from other players.
Another
example of Arena’s improved pace how the game would make an “educated
guess” as to what lands you wanted to tap while casting a spell, so you
didn’t have to select them individually. You could still select them
manually if you wanted full control over what got tapped. Between games,
Wong brought up the pace of the game with Cao and Price, which was
unquestionably a planned talking point.
