Can, ordinary washing powder for is alkaline, PH around 10, alkaline environment, of course, can kill bacteria, and some senior detergent containing sodium percarbonate, sodium percarbonate has an antibacterial function. But after rinsing due to return to neutral environment, in dark and light conditions to dry and also bacteria can develop. So if you are in the dark environment dry suggest using aseptic liquid or fabric softener wash it's long-time sterilization, clothes won't stink.
